Day 181: June 30, 2011

I wouldn't say today was bad...but I wouldn't say it was a good day.  I'm really glad it's over.

I had promised the director of "Annie Warbucks" that I would make copies of the script for the kids.  Well, he got me the pages numbers and stuff today, so I set out to make all the copies.  Shauna had already copied everything for herself, so I just had to use that.  Easy, right?  WRONG!!!  I couldn't find her script.  I could find the music, but not the script.  So when I copied them music, that went just fine.  However, I had to use the actual script for the copies and the copy machine was being a FREAKING PAIN IN THE BUTT!!!  I literally kicked it like three times and hit it once.  It kept copying pages in the wrong direction.  Or it would jam.  Finally, I used the printer/scanner combo to copy the main copies and then ran all the other copies on the big copier.  But then, it didn't have enough memory to run the whole thing at once, so I had to break it up into sections.  Ugh...it took FOREVER!!!  And the heat coming off the copier was INSANE!!  I was so hot!  And totally exhausted by the time I was done.  But everything's copied.  The girls can have their scripts on Saturday.

Crazy rain today!!!  Big thunderstorms!!!

Gala rehearsal tonight.  I am wondering how I'm going to learn all that music with everything else going on.  Ugh.

Day 180: June 29, 2011

You know, if someone had me under surveillance, they would be bored out of their skulls watching me.

Today...I worked.  And then I worked some more.  And then I went home and watched Robin Hood on DVD.  What an exciting day!!!  Not.

Day 179: June 28, 2011

Worked all day, rehearsed all evening.  I'm sensing a running theme here...

The only bummer of the day was that I couldn't go see the Pirates exhibit at the museum with my family.  Stupid work.

Day 178: June 27, 2011

Woke up with cramps.  Ugh!!!  I don't get them very often, but when I do, they are not fun.  Spent a good portion of the morning laying on the floor with my legs up on my chair.  That, and the Ibuprofen, took care of them for most of the day.  I had to take more Ibuprofen tonight.  Feeling better at the moment.

Worked today.  That's about it.  Oh, and a short rehearsal for the nuns.  Kinda lazy day, really.  Good, since I didn't really feel all that great.

Day 177: June 26, 2011

Long day!!!  Started with the early session of Stake Conference.  It started at 9!  Ugh, that's early for me right now!  I never have to be anywhere earlier than 10 am!!!  But I made it.  The session was great!  I really do love it when we have a visiting authority.  They are always amazing!!

I stayed after and sang with the choir in the 2nd session as a favor to Melissa.  Then I went home.

Tonight we had a fundraiser concert for LOT, "Salute to America".  I sang in the choral number at the end.  It was the Wilhousky "Battle Hymn of the Republic", which I've known forever.  It was a lot of fun!  The whole concert was fabulous!

Day 176: June 25, 2011

I had to work today.  I don't like working on Saturdays, but I do it when I need to.  Heck, it's a paycheck.

Stake Conference tonight was very good!  We have a visiting General Authority, Elder Payne.  I'm excited to hear more from him tomorrow!

Day 175: June 24, 2011

An uneventful day at work.  Then a trip to the temple!  I was going to do baptisms with my ward, but there were way too many people, so I did an endowment session instead.  Wonderful night at the temple!
