I didn't get up super early to watch the Royal Wedding today, but I did watch the highlights. Fairy tales do come true! A commoner is now a princess!
I auditioned for "The Sound of Music" with Up in Lights today. I thought it went pretty well! Craig auditioned as well, and Emily is auditioning tomorrow!! Yay!!!

Tonight I went to the BYU Singers concert at TVHS. What a great concert! Sometimes I miss being in a really good choir, but then I remember that I'd probably have to give up theatre in order to commit to a choir all the time. So I'm happy with my church choir. :)

Slept in again today. It's nice to be able to do that, but I really need to find another job.
Went to the LCS rehearsal again tonight to take notes on the actors. They have a really cute show. A wide variety of music!

Busy day at work! The phones were ringing off the hook! It sure does make the time go faster!

Day 115: April 25, 2011
I slept in until 9:30 this morning. Sure, I was up really late last night...but sleeping past nine is always a plus!
Tonight we went up to the Fort Collins mall to see a piece of Emily's artwork at the school district art show. Then we spent like an hour and a half in the food court. The kids are hilarious! That is all. :)

Happy Easter!!!
Today started out with choir practice early...which only 3 people showed up for. So we didn't practice early. But everyone else showed up at the normal time. And we sang very well in Sacrament Meeting. It was a nice arrangement of "He is Risen." I think hightailed it to the Stake Center to sing with the Bison Ridge Ward choir. They needed a little extra help...and I really should be going to that ward anyway. Maybe soon.
I went up to Wellington tonight to watch the kids so that Robin could go see "Savior of the World" again. We had a "pajama party", even though I wasn't wearing pajamas. (10 points to me for getting the girls to put the pajamas on early without a fight!!) We danced around to "Bye Bye Birdie", read stories, and watched "The Amazing Race." Once the kids were all in bed, I watched "Doubt." Great movie!!
Mildly scary drive home in the rain (not as bad as last Thursday!!) Now if I could just get totally better to I can sing well at my auditions this coming weekend!!

Day 113: April 23, 2011
I went and rescued Shauna at Goodwill today. She bought a small couch and it wouldn't fit in her car. So I had to drive over and get the truck and then go over to get the couch.
We saw the Fort Collins Stake production of "Savior of the World: His Birth and His Resurrection" today. Craig was playing Eli, one of the shepherds. Wow, that is such a powerful show. I cried several times. There were things that I liked better from when we did the show three years ago, and some things that I liked better today. Overall, a good show!! I had Emily on my lap for most of the show...and it's a long show! She kept fidgeting and I would tell her something that was going to happen. She kept saying "How did you know that?" and I kept saying "Because I've done this show before!!" It was pretty funny!
Now I can't stop watching "The Ten Commandments" on TV. There's just something about Charleton Heston and Yul Brenner. I turned it off for awhile, but now I'm watching it again!!!! There's still 45 minutes left...I'm going to make myself turn it off. I don't need to watch this movie every time it's on TV!!
